Multipanel is easy to cut, drill and route with standard working tools.

 

Multipanel is very easy to water jet cut and CNC machine.

HEAT & BEND

Apply standard heat gun, or heat lamps for larger areas.

SHEET JOINING

Sheets of same thickness can be butt joined, mitered, tongue and grooved and finger jointed using polyurethane based glues. Multipanel supplies and recommends Multipanel polyurethane glue. Prior to applying glue blow off all surfaces to remove all dust.   More...

FIXING
To fix panels, either glue and nail or glue and screw together.

 

When fixing to a timber frame, fastener penetration should be at least 38mm with corrosion resistant nails or screws counter sunk into panel face. Then apply a 2 pack flexible filler to smooth over surface.

STUD SPACING
Stud spacings will vary depending on thickness of sheets and job application.
FINISHING
All sheets are supplied by Multipanel using a calibrated sander and are ready for finishing. Blow off surface to remove all dust prior to painting, texture coating, laminating, veneering or fibreglassing.  More...

2 PACK PAINTING

When applying a 2 pack paint finish, a marine grade 2 pack hi build primer system must be used. Multipanel recommends a 2 pack primer system.  More...

SOLVENTS
Wiping with solvents will not effect the surface of the product, however avoid prolonged exposure.
SAFETY
Multipanel is a non-toxic, non-carcinogenic material and is not considered harmful, however inhalation of dust produced during cutting should be avoided.

 

Eye, ear and mouth protection should always be worn whenever cutting or sanding Multipanel.
STORING SHEETS
Panels should be stored flat, out of direct sunlight and kept dry and clean.
